  1. Setup the tracker on the system. (See IMEA / GPS Identifier setup details further below)
  2. Put the Sim in the tracker. Make sure the cut out on the sim is facing outwards, bottom left. (It is not a logical way around the cut out is towards you)
  3. SMS it 886# (You will receive all the details back.) if you do not receive details back do not continue. Check the SIM has SMS’s available. Check the SIM is working in another device. Check the SIM is inserted the correct way around. Check the device is powered on. Check the device is able to get GPS signal.
  4. If the sms received back is in Chinese send an sms “LANG0#” (zero (0) not an o)
  5. SMS 803#197.242.150.95#5002#  (points the device to to the GPS Server)
  6. Moving Upload: MUP#Seconds# or 730#Seconds#
  7. Static Upload: SUP#Minutes#
  8. Check to see the GPS is showing on the App / GPS Server (SIM must have available data)
  9. Status Check: 902#
  10. Restart GPS: 930#
  11. Restore GPS to factory settings: 940#  (use this to setup the GPS from the beginning again)

Tracker Lights – GSM/GPS/OBD LED Indicator

  1. Blue LED indicator on: GPS not positioned.
  2. Blue LED indicator off: Sleep model.
  3. Blue LED indicator blinking: GPS positioned.
  4. Yellow LED indicator blinking fast (one time each second): GSM Network signal is normally, and tracker works under GSM mode.
  5. Yellow LED indicator blinking slowly (one time each three second): Tracker works under GPRS mode.
  6. Yellow LED indicator off: GSM off or no network.
  7. Red LED indicator on: No communication with vehicle.
  8. Red LED indicator off: Sleep model.
  9. Red LED indicator blinking: on communication with vehicle.

Adding a Device – “Device Identifier”

  • On the “Tracking in Time” app or cloud system.
  • When adding a device use the last 11 digits of the IMEA number and add a 0 (zero to the left)  – T6 wired unit.
  • 5in1 Unit uses the full IMEA number.
  • OBD plug in units of use the last 10 digits of the IMEA number.
  • Generally the serial number on a GPS will be one of the above numbers you should use.
